Salvage Life owner, Beth Giles has always been a salvager and creative entrepreneur. In her first business venture as a young girl, she collected dying roses from her neighbor’s yard, made potpourri and then sold it to friends and family.
Beth received her Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Fashion Design and Merchandising from California State University Long Beach. Before starting Salvage Life, Beth gained experience in sales and marketing at a lovely contemporary clothing showroom in Los Angeles. She then learned the design and production process as an assistant to the design team for a junior’s clothing line. While developing the concept for Salvage Life, Beth designed window displays for a Long Beach boutique.
Beth couldn’t see herself living anywhere but the beautiful and diverse city of Long Beach where she currently resides with her husband and daughter. To see what Beth is up to, check out her blog.
